Is Kyonta Stallwarth our next recruiting coup?

the idea of a team like MSU questioning the integrity of Ferentz is pretty funny. I think that is the first time ever that Ferentz was called a snake oil salesman.

They were laughing at Iowa players getting arrested......I mean isn't half the starting MSU team out on parole?

It's funny seeing them talk about Iowa players legal trouble when the "Saint" Dantonio bailed Rucker out of jail the day before the Iowa game a couple yrs ago, and flew him down to IC so he could play.

I think Stallwarth just doesn't want to spend his career faking injuries at MSU.

Every online posting fan base has some pretty delusional folks. Hey, they won the Rose, hard to argue with success. That said, some comments there are pretty crazy and absurd.

One guy slams Iowa for all the legal issues....then posts listing 5 guys mentioned for legal trouble are from Michigan....

KF has some deficiencies... lack of integrity is not one if them...referring to him as a "snake oil salesman"...absurd.

And apparently Iowa City is a wasteland but East Lansing is paradise.

This is why I attempt to stay off other boards mostly....good Lord.

as said above every fan base has 'those people' and some of them are 16 years old with no historical frame of reference to boot.

I don't understand how fans of MSU (Arguably with the MOST ridiculous legal problems over the last 10-15 years) could ever cast stones at other teams for having players with legal troubles..

I like his name, sounds good, let's get him.

for the benefit of this thread -

just looked this guy up.

he is a 3* ranked OG per rivals, but with offers from Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, UCLA among others. Doesn't list Iowa as having offered, so I'm sure there are a bunch of other offers he has. Listed him committing December 2013.

I think Rivals has him rated lower than other services. He's a 4-star and top 200 player on ESPN and Scout, and he's a 4-star on 247Sports.

Those MSU fans sure are a miserable bunch. Iowa needs to stop publishing alcohol arrests as "arrests." College kids crimes are not concerning. Other than those couple years with with Everson/Saterfield and CBI, the program has pretty much entirely avoided anything other than college kid violations.

MSU had like half their team assault some some frat house among other things.

Even when Iowa has had the isolated truly bad incidents, those guys were never again part of the team.

MSU had a guy released from jail on Thusday play at Iowa on Saturday. This occurred right after Dantonio screamed at the media that he was implementing "zero tolerance".

Ahhh yes, I remember it well ... the Rucker reinstatement. Jail on Thursday for a parole violations and football on Saturday (at Iowa City no less). One of my favorite games as the Hawks went on to smack down Sparty 37-6. Enjoy the highlights ...

I think some of you are only reading what you want to read; there are many posts on that site that are fairly objective and rational, e.g., noting that MSU has done this as well, including the Barrant kid from Iowa who ended up at MSU.

Especially when they were talking about ex-Michigan residents
