Is JoePed's fall from grace the biggest ever?

Tell that to young moviegoers. Or are people no longer whining about how Hollywood sets such a poor example for America's youth? Idolization is idolization, no matter how you choose to spin it.

And on top of that, we aren't talking about his standing with PSU faithful. As we've seen over the last year, they have had a tough time seeing anything but the past glory. Paterno's fall has come on a more national level, with people who had no such emotional connection to his players.

You are prolly right. Remember that time when thousands of people took to the webz to defend Mel when he got that dui? Or how bout that time hundreds of Braveheart fans showed up at Mels house to cheer him on after he made those anti-semetic remarks?

Which signifies little to no fall at all in the eyes of those supporting him. Those people who rallied outside of JoePa's house weren't there to vilify him. They were there grasping to the old image of Joe, which hadn't changed in their eyes. That's not a sign of a fall from grace.

as of 4:16 central there were 313,988,522 people in the US. Only a few misguided college students ralied to JoePeds house that night. If you are going to attempt to argue he hasnt fallen in disgrace im ******* done. You cant fight.stupid.

other countries Hitler. people praised the heck out of him and when the ish came out, don't even talk about those times in Germany, never ever mentioned.

If those college students don't matter at all, then what the **** was your point about nobody defending Gibson? I said that he hasn't seemed to fall in the eyes of PSU, with all the support they're still getting from alumni and such (hence your "Shame on Penn State Grads" thread). My point was that whether or not people are defending Paterno/Gibson is irrelevant. Nowhere did I say he hasn't fallen in disgrace on a national (or even just outside of PSU) point of view.

I'll give you credit, though. You're the most successful troll in message board history.

PSU showing up at JoePeds in support house show how revered he was. The rest of the worlds reaction shows how far he's fallen.
