Is it that hard to sit in YOUR seat?

The last two games I have been surrounded by people who take up too much room. I understand people come in all shapes and sizes. However, is it that hard to be considerate of the people around you? If you look in front of you, and you are half way between two seat backs in front of you, it should be easy for you to realize that you need to move over.

You must sit in the North End zone

I sit there too, and theres not much you can do about it. Just pray you sit next to a hot chick rather than a sweaty 300 pound grown man.

Games in September in the NE are HELL.

I was a staunch opponent for years of the seatbacks. However, when you have some slightly overweight people in your row it makes it hell. Opted for the seatbacks for the PSU game and the problem has been solved.

Buy the seatbacks next year...it marks your "territory." Usually when things are that crowded, someone has a buddy or two they've jammed into the row who bought from scalpers, but aren't sitting in those seats.

Its because the spots are actually smaller than most stadiums. Instead of making the stadium bigger, they made the seats smaller. I want to say its like 2"-3" less room that the average 'seat area'.

14" wide as opposed to 17".... or something like that.

We noticed that when we were in Ann Arbor, seats were wider but we had knees in our backs and our knees were in the backs of others...

Seatbacks. They're not just for comfort. They mark your area.
