Is Ferentz the worst coach in the country?

I can't think of anyone worse.

Rick Neuhisle, Brewster, Dan Hawkins and Zook are no longer coaching so their out.

Mack Brown is pretty awful, Is Dave Wansted still around?

Ferentz is certainly one of the top 10 worst in the country no question.

His one good quality is being able to evaluate highschool talent but other than that you would be hard pressed to come up with anything he is good at. Teaching zone blocking I guess.

It needs to be over. The last 3 years have been a boring slow sinking ship and it just wen't under.

When it comes to the offense, I sure as heck can't argue it. The 2 minute offense, and the lack of offensive creativity and explosiveness in general are beyond pathetic.

I know one thing for sure...that big goober up in Ames is waaaaay better than the 4 Million Dollar Man.

He is an average coach at best, when the team talent is above average. He is a poor coach at best, when the team talent is average

I think we can dispense with the theory that Kirk Ferentz "does more with less". 2005, 2006, 2010, etc. And a great coach could've squeezed out a couple W's out of our many close losses this year and gotten more than 4 wins.

Pau would have at least got Iowa to the little ceasers bowl and could teach a team how to field an onside kick.

yep
and he wouldn't fk up his clock and TO management game after game after game after game after game

CMU just executed better. No amount of gameplan or on the field adjustments could have stopped that loss.
