Is baseball going to get cut?

I can understand it from a financial standpoint, but it's not that taxing on the overall athletic program. It's a very good and successful program and is a source of pride for a lot of fans. I don't know if the full stadium upgrade would've made much of a difference if the $10 million donation hadn't fallen through and the project had to be cut to a relatively minor upgrade.

I don't know that this is actually going to happen, but I've heard rumblings from people other HS coaches that have connections to the program that there are talks.

Would absolutely hate that but I can see it happening. Not being able to get a basketball coach in the door has to have some effects and the bank account is the first place they'll look.

I wonder if "technically" NIL is legal at the high school level. I'll see if I can round up some money up for him to come to NW IA for the summer.
