The difference in defensive intensity blows me away. I knew the style would be different, i did not think they would buy into it so well this early.
Fran made a comment in pregame (wish i would have written down the quote!) referring to knowing they will make mistakes with everything they have thrown at them, but it being ok and they will keep learning and getting better. For the first time in years guys are playing hard and not afraid to mess up...it has resulted in a team that looks inspired and enjoying the game.

Definitely need to keep working on intensity coming out of the half.
Gatens has 11 points tho is only 1-7 from 3
Cartwright 7 points, 7 assists, and 3 boards
Marble, McCabe, and Basabe all have 6 points
May is 1-6 from the field with 4 points
Archie and May with 4 rebounds each

This team is woefully awful in the second half this season. It is one thing to lose an 18 point lead to Wake Forest on the road but if they lose a 23 point lead to Idaho State at HOME that is unacceptable.
