Iowa's current resume

Northern Iowa might end up being a quality win if they can keep it up. They are red hot the last month.

Bad Losss
Virgina Tech
Purdue

Thankfully the above losses were road games. The Purdue one hurts the most because Iowa had that one. Virginia Tech was early in the season which isn't terrible even though Iowa played poorly.

There is a lot of work left to do, and Iowa controls their NCAA fate, but things are looking solid. The margin for error is slim, but if they can get four more wins (including the Big Ten Tourney), then I think they will be dancing. That non-conference schedule really hurts Iowa the most which is why 20 wins may not make it. I think they need 21 unless Indiana is a win.

Northern Iowa will be a quality win. So will Illinois, IF we defeat them.

Go 4-1 the rest of the way and win one in the BTT and we are in....it won't be easy, however....Nebby is playing well

If we win 4 of our last 5 and beat PSU in the first round of the B1G tournament we will finish 6th in America's toughest conference with a 10-8 record and 22 overall wins. We will also be 8-2 in our last 10 games. I think that is good enough to get in the dance.

We could lose but we should win. I'm not concerned. If Iowa can't win at Nebraska we don't belong in the NCAA Tournament...so there's really nothing to worry about. We know our floor is the NIT and our ceiling is to dance.

I didn't think the team even looked fazed when they were down 16 today. The team will be ready to go IMO and I'm glad the game isn't until Thursday. I feel even better about Purdue...lot of time to prepare, rest, heal, etc.

Win the next 2 to make it 5 straight and I give the Hawks slightly better than a punchers chance in Bloomington.

May, Basabe, McCabe and Marble have all won a game in that building.

Nothing to be intimidated about there.

Also, Basabe didn't play the 1st time. He tends to have good games against Indiana. I don't know that we'll win but I highly doubt the team will be intimidated going into this game...been there and done that too many times this season.
