Iowa's best quarterback the last 2 years

Was playing cornerback - Micah Hyde. He was their best athlete, and had played the position. He would have been the closest to Brad Banks since, Brad Banks. Better for him that he played cornerback, because it will probably get him to the NFL, but for Iowa, he would have been the double threat QB they haven't had since Banks.

Makes sense........our best RB was sitting on the bench playing with himself until the 4 guys in front of him got hurt.........

With the injured OL and no solid WR you could have had Joe Montana back there and we only would have won maybe 5 games. Im not even going to mention GD's system.

Crazy, isn't it..............

If you are going to bash the coaching staff for him playing fullback then since he was recruited by Air Force as a fullback then you need to realize that everyone who recruited him and didn't recruit him didn't realize his potential. Oh wait that wouldn't fit into your anti-Ferentz agenda.

That and maybe it is a plan. You know where you send your O out there when it's their ball. Or pregame tell the other coach if you lose your going to ball punch him on tv after the game, say it serious and walk away. CRAZY like a fox. Get in their heads.

We aren't giving credit to how many times our best quarterbacks have been playing out of position. Chad Greenway was far superior to Chandler back in 2004. Clinton Solomon outperformed Drew Tate in the forty yard dash. McNutt had his picture taken holding the football like a quarterback before vanishing into obscurity after changing positions. DJK never recovered from his position change, lost his confidence and went down a bad path. That kid who lit up the scoreboard for Bondurant-Farrar two years ago was made for this.

I don't think Ferentz can pull off the CRAZY like a fox or getting into other coaches/players heads.

Sure he can, just dont list any RB's and list them all as FB's. People will go wtf??? Or he could chew bubble gum, and blow a bubble, take it out of his mouth, stare down and point to the other coach and punch the bubble. Crazy. Or while the game is going on start playing frisebee with someone on the sidelines. Oh yea we are cooking now.
Everybody would think he lost his mind and while they are going wtf you unleash the kraken.

This is too stupid to even attempt a reply to........sorry about what your aunt and uncle did to you, Banjer........

I don't think you can compare someone who sees him in practice every day and doesn't realize his potential with someone who wasn't even recruiting him.

If Joe Montana was on our team, he would have seen only the bench because Mr (gives us the best chance to win) Vandenburg would only play.

KF believes in loyalty. If JM were our qb in 77 and KF our coach and NCAA allowed, he would still be there today....
