The 12thgame man is known far and wide. Many claim that title. Lets look shall we. When a player drops a pass, and the crowd goes aaaahhhh. Who is the loudest? When fans bring up things like the heck of a game an graduated player had that sunday, who's the loudest? Why? Coaches and fans? I remember when my kids were young, i did so many aaaaaahhhhh's and whoops and hooray's. Then again what do i know half the time i find myself sitting in the wrong car.

lil ole iowa might just have something most dont. I talk a ton of college ball and i have noticed on thurs, sun and mon, we are still fans that far exceed any other fans i have come across. Nice to have people in your corner for so long and thru it all.

Iowa's 12th man tradition where they just take a guy out of the stands and give him the number 12 is probably my favorite tradition that Iowa has. Mark Vlasic and Ricky Stanzi were two such men who wore 12 and both went on to star at QB for the Kansas City Chiefs. It's nice to see kids get that opportunity. GO HAWKS!!!!
while we may not seat 100000, i would like to think quality is more important. Kinnick is not the biggest, but it is a nice village. It takes a village ....

Let me guess if a movement started for a black out of all #12 jerseys, you would be the one to not do it. Heck maybe you dont deserve a #12. Maybe you are a 13.
