Iowalaw's Post Game Analysis: ISU

All I know is, Tyler Wiegers looked pretty darn good yesterday and was supposedly neck and neck with Stanley right up until week 1 last year. Rudock was a shell of himself until he transferred to Michigan. CJ Beathard was a stud as a sophomore then gradually became more and more conservative until he was throwing for 112 yards per game as a senior. Coaching is the problem here.
Seriously, what makes you such an expert in your lame posts? You act like you are such a know it all with your analysis posts. What a joke, clown!

He has everything to do with a delay of game penalty on the first play of the game (first time in Big 10 history that happened), unimaginative play calling, and a lack of stretching the ball down the field. He is also the brains behind all of the 3rd and 9 runs up the middle and the boneheaded clock management before the end of the first half. Or is all of that "execution" too? Not many RBs execute the 3rd and 9 run off tackle other than Barry Sanders.

Exactly, Brian Ferentz the OC has nothing to do with execution. Give him a break, guys!

The game clocks in the stadium were never started. I think it was a shitty call by shitty Big XII refs that have zero situational awareness. Was it a delay of game? I guess, the clock starts at the end of the kickoff now, but if the clocks aren't started in the stadium can we really expect the players to realize that they are running low on time?

Was there ever a clear statement on this? The south end zone clocks were running as I watched them. I thought maybe it was some sort of tribute statement for Sash 3 years after on the same day in the game he probably loved the most. But then I watched the replay on tv and even Kirk was like WTF just happened here. So now I wonder WTF happened.

I was sitting in the north end zone and thought that the south clocks weren’t running, but I’m not sure about the north clocks. I haven’t seen any sort of statement but it was very strange.

The south ones were running. I assume maybe north ones were not or the refs didn't do what they normally do and signal the start of the play clock. Some of the stuff this group of refs did was borderline atrocious at times. The forward pass by Stanley they first called a fumble was f-ing ridiculous.

Makes me almost feel bad for Iowa State... Then I remember that their fans are a bunch of pricks and it's kind of funny that they have to deal with shit refs.
