Iowa’s best football victory of the last 50 years

The 1985 Iowa-Michigan game was huge...I'd also put the 2002 dismantling of Michigan in Ann Arbor up there as maybe the most impressive win of the last 25 years or so..shocking in the dominance for Iowa. That Michigan team finished the year ranked 9th, Iowa 8th.

The top 2 for me is the 59 Rose Bowl and the 2010 Orange Bowl.
The next games seem to be turning points in the program or games that were very important for forward momentum.
81 Nebraska
85 Michigan
90 Illannoy
95 Washington
00 Northwestern
02 Michigan
08 Penn State
09 UNI
13 Nebraska?

Wasn't the game at Michigan State the best game ever few years ago? I absolutely thought we lost that one until in last few seconds left in the game. I almost crap my pants, when we won the game. I can't remember which game was it? Anyone knows?

Best game could be debated for years. The game I personally probably enjoyed the most was the trucking of FL in the 1st Outback bowl. Being there in person made it even better.

Most *important* game...surprised nobody has mentioned it....beating MSU 36-7 in 1981 to ensure the first of HF's Rose Bowls. That to me was the turning point of the program after 20 years of gloom and doom.
