Ahh, so you can appreciate the fact that losing our 2:30 games and night games has taken a toll on the tailgating scene in Iowa City.

11 am games suck for tailgating. 2:30 games are perfect, night games are ridiculous and memorable.

I agree that the initial schedule was set up by our poor season last year. But, at this point, I am surprised that Iowa does not warrant a few later kickoffs at home. NW will only have one early start at home all year, it appears....and they might go winless in the league. Minny has had several late kickoffs...and they were no better than Iowa. I am convinced that Iowa officials put in the request for all early starts and the rest of the league desires late starts for their fans....Iowa officials do not care about fan preferences....it seems.-

Somehow, TV controls the start times for every sport and team in the country, but Iowa can demand early kicks and receive them. Got it.

Seems there are fewer games on BTN than previous years so far. DirecTV expanded to 4 or 5 BTN overflows yet only 2 games on BTN each Saturday. Lots on ESPN family.

It's the same as always. A typical week has one game on ESPN, one on ESPN2, one on ABC, 2 on BTN, and 2 teams have the bye. How can this be that complicated to understand?

Actually I think he is right. Because of the double bye this year for each team all 12 B1G teams havent played on the same weekend since Week 3. Less teams playing each weekend means less games per weekend.
