Iowa wins 3 over the sisters of the poor and everyone hypes them

A troll who posts 50 times in one thread telling me to let it go. LOL.

No problem!:D

Grow up. I clearly stated I was done arguing several posts ago. I even went as far as apologizing. What more do you want? I'm not a troll. I just don't live in a false reality and think this team is going to be good. I'm done wasting my time on them. Hopefully Fran can turn this around in a few years.

Gee, after the fits you have thrown about the football team and coaching this season I think you can relate.

smoot, this isn't about me. you're being a d!ck around here lately and I don't like it. shape up. get it together and come back with something constructive.

Smoot, after you're done crapping all over the hawkeyes...and after you're done puking up insults all over the interwebs, consider this oldie but goodie:

This is true. Just disappointed with the teams. I'll try to be more sensitive to the other posters. I admit, I shouldn't have started this thread. Whelp, too late.

maybe i missed it who on here as been hyping up the Hawks, most of the post i have seen, have been enthusiastic and upbeat, but most are being conservative in expectations, i don't see any prediction of actually making the dance or the upper half of the big ten, there is hope for a good season but nothing like Mr. Davis's season of 30+ wins and a elite 8 appearance,

After the shape this program has been in, especially after Lickliter's debacle, it takes time to recruit some talent and turn a program around. Iowa is not Kentucky and can not go out and sign five five star players. Although a disappointing performance, the Hawks can now judge themselves and determine what they need to do against better competition. Basabe has been a disappointment this year and he was one of the primary players that Iowa had depended on down low. Without Basabe playing at a level he did last year it is going to be tough for the Hawks. Iowa desperately needs Basabe to pick up the pace.

What a bunch of homers on this board. Hopefully this half against Creighton puts things back to reality on here. Some local writers were even talking NCAA tournament. These must be the same people who kiss KF's rear and ask softballs after every loss to Minny and ISU.

Evidently you must not read the forum very much. While there are a handful of homers that were predicting NCAA bid at the beginning of the season I did not see anyone over reacting to those first 3 wins. We all knew the level of competition Iowa was playing against and while the big wins were good to see most of us here were waiting to see how the team would play against Creighton.

But let's not go overboard here. Iowa played very badly against a pretty good team. Iowa is young and will make mistakes, there is no reason to go off the deep end in a game like this. Let's see how the team responds.
