Derek is doing ok but will not be anywhere near 100% this year. The plan is still to give him a shot this year though and see if he can "tough it out" and make it work. If he can handle the pain and still go I think he can still be an AA. He probably won't make finals like he could have at 100% but he can still be effective.

Thanks for the update. Would love to see him at least AA this year. Hopefully he can be 100% by next year.
 


He will likely have surgery soon after the season and hopefully be back healthy by start of the season next year. He will miss some valuable time this off season though.
 
















Now Matt gets him over for 3 nearfall but time expries. I guess I missed 2 nearfall on the first time too and it was 11-2 after 1. McD with quick takedown to start 2nd and now leads 13-2.
 


Matt puts Heitpas on his back again but can't adjust for the fall. It is now 16-2 with 1:00 left in 2nd.
