Iowa vs Washington Game Thread

Monika hits a jumper, Iowa is playing well on both ends of the court. They have held Washington scoreless in the second quarter.
 
23--15 Washington with 4:22 left in the second quarter. Hawks just need to hit some shots. They can beat this team.
 
I can’t get the game to come in, my kid’s messing with the rabbit ears.

Did Bohannon have any sweet dunks yet?

I hope they got good sleep, not much rest time from last night.
 
Mac hits a jumper, she is playing another great game, and Iowa’s defense has now forced 10 turnovers! Iowa’s defense this year is outstanding.
 
This is a very good game for the Hawks because they are going to face this same stuff in the B1G this year. Hawks just need to slow down. Forcing Washington into a lot of TO's but then the Hawks turn it right back over. Hopefully Hawks will hit their shots the second half. This isn't a game for Lexie to be in. At least not handling the ball. Put her is the corner and feed her the ball but don't let her handle it. Hawks are rebounding well against this tall Washington team. Gabbie, and McKenna doing a very good job. Just need to keep shooting.
 
Iowa with more great defense, they force another Washington turnover to close out the second quarter.

Washington is having a very difficult time trying to score against Iowa’s defense. The huskies are getting frustrated. Iowa will get the momentum in the 3rd quarter and take control of this game.
