With the win on Saturday KF evened his record to 4-4 against UM only leaving OSU as a team with a losing record lets hope coach Rod stays for a long time cannot coach any defense. KF is now 2-2 at home and 2-2 on the road vs UM so big win on Saturday.

Coach Fry went 4-11-1 at Iowa against UM so since 1980 we are 8-15-1 all time against UM.

Mich will not accept another losing season, and I do see Mich going to bowl. When Fry came he changed Iowa mind set but was still up against big2 little 8 concept of big10. Times have changed. KF has brought a tougher mind set to Iowa and taken Iowa to another level. Fry made Iowa a reg top 25 team, KF now has a reg top 15 team.
I do not care how down Mich is. I remember too many losses to Mich. Any victory over Mich is a great victory!

The series began in 1900 and the first game was played at Detroit and Iowa won. The next game played was in Chicago and Michigan won. There has been 56 games total including last Saturday's game. Michigan dominates the series with 40 wins to Iowa's 12. There has been four ties; 29, 57, 63, and 1988. Thirty three games have been played in Ann Arbor and 21 in Iowa City. This is according to Stassens.

The series has been much more competitive the last 30 years, but half the games have been Iowa City and half in Ann Arbor since 1981. Prior to that 21 of the games were in Ann Arbor and 11 in Iowa City. I'm not sure why the disparity existed, but I suspect it was financially beneficial to hold games in Ann Arbor. Home field advantages may have some affect on the overall results, but not enough to say Michigan hasn't dominated.

Fry .250 against Mich
KF .500! sad that a victory over Mich is "oh well, they suck! We are better"
history is just that history. I was at Kinnick in 88 when Fry decided to not go for victory (1 of 3 ties that year-osu, Mich st) All Mich fans "happy" to not lose, while Iowa fans were Upset not to win.
Mich has dominated, no question. Thats why it stinks that they are"BAD" and now Iowa gets no credit for beating them.
Why is big10 vic in conf not impressive anymore? in 90 when Iowa beat Mich at homecoming they became National story. Now a victory over Mich means nothing!
Sad, Sad, Sad

Michigan will win 8 games

Money they better! Another hawk victory over a mediocre Mich team means nothing! No bump from beating Penn St.

Iowa is 40-12 all time against Michigan - so Fry worked a minor miracle and KF wouldn't be here without Fry.

Michigan 4-4
Michigan St. 5-4
Wisconsin 6-5
Illinois 5-3
Ohio St. 1-6
Purdue 5-3
Penn St. 8-2
Minnesota 8-3
Indiana 5-4
Northwestern 4-5
Nebraska 0-2
Iowa St.(Lil' Sis) 6-6

so we have a losing record against Nebby, OSU, and Northwestern under Ferentz.

Yes only Nwestern and OSU and Nebby when they arrive next year. Fry changed Iowa and KF has kept it climbing for sure.
