Megan had a bad day. 20 points and 12 rebounds. The rest of the team stepped up today!

The championship game will be tomorrow at 5pm central against Maryland, Iowa won the only match up between the 2 teams this season.

I don't know why they won't call the fouls? It's been that way all year! It's amazing Megan can keep her composure and not just slam the crap out of somebody!

It was a good timeout by the interim Rutgers head coach. Iowa was shredding their press so he pulled the press back to 3/4 court. For some reason the hawks then stopped running their offense with that 20 point lead. It happens, a few turnovers and they hit like 7 of 9 shots and the lead is nearly gone.

BUT THIS TEAM GUTTED IT OUT. I THOUGHT THE STARTING FIVE PLAYED GREAT ONCE THAT LEAD GOT TO 5 AND THEN DOWN TO THREE. I AM SCREAMING IT.

It looked like Megan was rushing things in the first qtr and just missing short shots while she was getting 'the business' from the rutgers players. they were really banging her and no calls in the first qtr

Well he better be in Indy because it is a no brainer to be there for a potential trophy presentation. Besides why be in Nebby to see Fran's reinstatement game.

I think the rule change that legalized the arm bar, only to hold your own position, has required the refs to spend so much time watching that contact that they miss the arm rake that Megan gets anytime she catches the ball and goes to shoot. I've seen Coach Bluder point out Megan's arms to the officials (they are discolored from abuse). Usually it earns a quick foul or two, but they stop watching for it. Coach has to time her complaint.

Boy what a STEP on a turtle's throat win. Way to go Hawkeyes!!!!!! If there's a God Barta will switch head coaches with the men and women next year. So nice to see a team with decent talent and better work ethic succeed versus the prima dona's on the men's side.
