Any new info on the lineup? Will it be the same as at national duals? Or will Dennis and possibly slaton be on the mat?

If it's the same lineup as duals I see it being tight.

125 McD dec Notte - 3-0 close but McD is a stud
133 Oliver dec Moore - 3-3 - this is where dennis could be huge
141 Parks dec Marion - 3-6 - I'd like to see leclare here after how well he wrestled at duals and Marion gave me Tsirstis flashbacks with his uncontrolled fall, plus parks has beat marion before.
149 Metcalf maj Silver- 7-6
157 Erisman dec Jansen - 7-9
165 Morningstar dec Meade - 10-9 - this is okie stats best chance for an upset as much as i hate to say it, this meade is unreal and if M* doesnt put up points early, and leaves meade in the match late it could end disastrous
174 Borshal dec Benefield 13-9- maybe even a major jaybo is wrestling as good as anyone in the country (including mack lewnes)
184 Keddy dec Foster - 16-9 - maybe even a major depending on how bad the ward lost stung, but again keddy has been wrestling to close so like morningsar I hate the idea of him leaving foster in this match late
197 Gelogaev dec Lofthouse - 16-12
285 Rosholt dec Johnson - 16-15

With slaton and dennis in the lineup 33 and 41 swing towards Iowa. And I give leclare a better shot at parks then marion (good stylistic matchup in my view)

Its not even a possibility but if the dual were later in the season Erekson can beat rosholt and beatty would beat gelogaev so with a healthy full lineup I see iowa winning every weight but 157. (unless they pull the redshirt off of st john)

As far as Dennis I don't think he will be in the lineup until the start of the Big Ten dual season next week along with Erekson. Dennis had a small setback a couple of weeks ago and the ankle did not respond to treatment as fast as hoped. He has been wrestling in the room this week, so there is a possibilty, but I don't see it happening. At 125 I see McD getting a decision here, Notte is tough, but gets out of position and McD will capitalize. At 133 I really see this as a toss up, I think Oliver is talented and his experience as the guy at OSU has helped him, but I think he is a little overrated. At 141 I hope we see Marion here. Leclere really struggles with quick explosive guys and he just is not a good scrambler. Parks and Marion are almost mirror images of each other although Marion is more physical, which is why this would be a terrible match up for Leclere based upon his results with Montell thus far. As far as Marion giving flashbacks of Tsirtsis, this was not the same situation. Marion was fighting off a move with a move of his own and just got caught and that happens even to the best of them, just ask Metcalf. Other than the fall he gave up Marion wrestled well at the duals and I wouldn't say Leclere's performance over ISU backup Jensen was impressive by any means. With White out for OSU at 149 I think Metcalf with either tech or pin whoever they put out there. 157 is interesting, Erisman has the experience, but Janssen is a gamer and his confidence is just growing everytime he steps out on the mat. Morningstar better be ready to go because Meade is a very active scorer. Star will have to score offensively in this match to win it, which I think he can, but whether he does is the question as always. Jaybo should beat Benefiel, but I don't know if it will be bonus points. Benefiel is a guy who is improving by the minute and I really like his style. I'm not sure Foster will go in this meet as he is still banged up, even if he does I think Keddy wins a close one especially considering Foster has been less than a 100%. OSU Russian is a big move waiting to happen, So hopefully Lofthouse can stay away from the feet to back moves and turn this into a mat wrestling match, if he can do that then he can keep it close, otherwise it will be bonus for OSU. If Blake is healthy I want to see him out there for this match, he can keep it close and Rosholt will have trouble scoring on Blake, unfortunately Blake has proven he can score on anybody. I think the Hawks win this dual with us favored at 125, 149, 174. OSU favored at 133, 157, 197 and HWT. It's going to come down to 141, 165 and 184 with bonus points being huge for both teams.

Ok guys here my thoughts on this very exciting dual and don't forget to wear YELLOW on Saturday!!!

125: McDonough is 1 or 2 points shy of a major here. He might even catch him for the fall but for now I'll stick with a dec. 3-0 Hawks

133: Moore might suprise a few of you here. I still like Oliver to win a VERY close match but it will only take 1 bad shot by Oliver and he will be on his back! For now its just a 3-3 tie.

141: Upset special #1 Marion gets a win here and Carver errupts!!! Mark it down I said it first Marion wins!!! 6-3 Hawks!!

149: Metcalf by maj dec. if its not Silver this could easily be 6 points for the Hawks! Even Siver could get stuck. But for now I'll stick with a major. 10-3 Hawks

157: Upset special #2 Janssen wins with riding time and Smith blows a blood vessel. Another that I will be the first to call!! 13-3 Hawks!!

165: Star gives us all a heart attack by going into ot and pulls it out in the end. 16-3 Hawks!

174: Jaybo is wrestling just as good as anybody in the country and continues to roll here but is 1 or 2 shy of a major. 19-3

184: Keddy showed me a lot this past weekend and is starting to get back to the old Phil and will win a regular dec here if its Foster if not look for atleast a major dec. out of Phil.
22-3

197: Lofthouse scares me and oky state guy could throw him and pin Lofthouse but for now I'll Lofthouse puts up a fight and holds him to a dec. 22-6

Hwt: Raisning would be a better matchup for us here but either way we lose here. Making the finals 22-9! Mark it down atleast 1 of my upset specials will happen and Iowa rolls again!!!

It is just sick to think that, with 3 of our starters out, we can still beat the #2 and #3 teams in the country! With our full lineup in we would be unstoppable!

Tobini you know better than this we dont have yellow in our colors. Thats GOLD my friend and your damn right BE BOLD AND WEAR YOUR GOLD Saturday night.

Hawkeyesports lists this as being on btn delayed tape airing at 9 but no indication of this on btn website or directv guide. Will this be televised?

Could be the last close dual match of the year! How many attendees? 10,000+ hopefully. I'll be there!

What a joke. How many years has the btn been around? And they still haven't delivered on the supposed increased coverage of the smaller sports? Go live or don't bother. What a joke.

I would have to disagree with this statement "Go live or dont bother". It would be awesome if they would air this meet live but on the other hand any exposure of college wrestling on tv is good for the sport even if it is a replay. JMO

I have to agree that any exosure is good, but I'm dissappointed that there isn't more live airing of lesser watched sports.

Exposure is good, but it's not going to be exposed to a much smaller audience. The match will be aired 26 hours after the fact. In those 26 hours flowwrestling.com will (almost certainly) have the matches up. The hardcore fans will get the results through text updates, forums, etc. And those that want to see the matches will watch them on flo tommarrow, and by the time the big ten network airs it late sunday night they will have lost alot of their audience due to the results already being known, and the liklihood that people will have already watched the matches on flow. THUS the ratings for the replay will be down from what they could have been if they had just delayed it a few hours . And with worse ratings, it will be harder for BTN to justify much coverage of the sport. That's what bothers me about BTN tape delays.
