Iowa vs Ohio State ...

about right I'd say. I am hoping and praying for an undefeated Iowa v undefeated OSU championship game match up
 
I think we have a great shot at beating Ohio State. I like our chances better against Cardale but I am still pretty confident even if Barrett is under center. My biggest concern in that game would be our tackle against Bosa. Hopefully CJ is ready to rock by then.
 
I think everyone just assumes Ohio St. will be the East champs,not a guarantee.We still need to win 2 more games to assure were the West champs.Go Hawks and I will see you all at Kinnick Saturday.Were serving smoked gopher meat at our tailgate.
 
I am probably the only one who feels this way, but I want Mich vs. Iowa in the CCG and that can realistically still happen.

Beathard vs. Rudock for the BigTen cahampionship and Beathard will win that competition too.

Not really into all the national playoffs talk right now. maybe after Iowa clinches the West Division, I will start thinking about that more. I am sure fans will start talking more about clinching the west next week when it becomes mathematically possible to clinch that same week.
 
Sometimes I get carried away with ideas about how good this Iowa team is. Honestly, If We listed the top 20 teams and go down, and asked, how many of these teams would Iowa beat 2 of 3 times. I think we'd go down the list past 15 until we hit that number.

The offense is better than last year, yet inconsistent. Cant' make teams pay for stacking the box.

The return game (punt and kick) have been absent for several weeks.

And CJB has not been 100% - it has affected his passing and running - less so against IU.

So, do I think Iowa is the 5th best team? no

Those are tough odds to not take. Of course, we have yet to find out what either team is really made of. For Ohio State, we will find out in a few weeks. If they beat Michigan State and Michigan, I would see the points moving up.

I don't disagree. I think some of the doubt, even from Iowa fans, simply is that this team is just so much better than anyone expected.

I am trying to remember we are basically "playing with house money" in terms of success this season, if you consider expectations. That said, at this point, if this team simply plays good, clean football, no reason to expect anything but, at a minimum, an 11 win regular season....and a shot at a B1G title.

Hell, I don't know, just loving this year and this team.

Keep winning.
 
Assuming Michigan wins @Indiana and @Penn State, and Ohio State wins @Illinois and vs Michigan State, I don't think it's inevitable that Ohio State beats Michigan in their final game. Most people would agree, but a prevailing narrative not only here but nationally is that Iowa is going to play Ohio State in Indy. I think Ohio State is going to have a TOUGH time in Ann Arbor.
