Iowa vs Northwestern Game Thread

I only make 2 or 3 / yr but I'd go a lot more if lived in IC. Also, boys gotta earn some competitive trust. If they had 2 Freemans and / or Josh / Peyton were money every game (rather than so drastically streaky) they'd be NCAA lock and would draw more interest.

Same. I live in Council Bluffs, so it’s a 4 hour drive. I support the shit out of any game I can on this side of the state whether that be NE, SD, MN, KS, MO neutral site games and also Lincoln. Gone to several BTT’s… but I do about as much as I can. Maybe 1 home game? If I’m lucky. The support is going to change pretty quick, people are sleeping on them. Theyve lost some depth. I expected a big year out of Koch, especially down the stretch. They’re still good.
 
Didn't realize this game was on Peacock until right before tip-off. Yes, I am the old guy, still struggling with streaming and where to find everything.

They’ll be a lock most of this season, so we’ll see. I think you’re right.
 
Back to improved D ... Harding not only upgrade over Bowen / Perk but also better in the controlled quickness and creating dept!
Wasn't so sure first couple games but he's showing those were anomalies and he is legit PG.
Complete confidence in him and DrewT running the team.

I am assuming I am a little bit older than you. I fully acknowledge I am living on nostalgia, this game when I growing up would have been sold out. Carver would have been rocking out 15500 strong...those days are over and I get it. I just wish people cared about men's basketball.

These types of games are certainly peeks at the potential but gotta see sustained shooting consistency and competitiveness against the likes of ISU, Mich, Illannoy, Wisc...
... and can NOT have these types of discombobulated meltdowns that just allowed NwU to trim 10 points off the lead!
