Will not happen. Makes zero sense though and is maddening. You only need 5 ******* players on the court at one time and they're teenagers who don't need rest. I just don't get it
 
We are a poorly coached, mentally weak basketball team. By the time Fran realized Gasell should be running things at the end of the game, it was too late. Marble had turned it over twice.

Mike should always be running the show late. Fran should know this and does but he's stuck on this senior leaders need to lead shtick.

Mikes our best player and future. Fran is really concerning me
 
Marble will drive to the hole and either lose it or get fouled where he makes one of two.

Mike will be on the bench when it matters most.

Zach will shoot a 3 late and try to be the hero. Also will mix in a 'charge' but not tonight

We will have a double digit lead at some point in the game but eventually blow it

Our opponent will shoot their brains out and have career nights

Fran will scream "that's ********!"
Ten to twenty times at the refs.

Rinse, repeat
 
You might add that a bench scrub goes 5-6 and hits all 3 pointers, queue up Buggs, Koenig, and Byrd, bench guys throwing in perfect nights behind the arc, throw in some career high nights, and 60% shooting nights too.

Plus at least 2 keystone cop moments where the ball bounces out of our hands into their guy standing under the basket, or zack McCabe finds another new way to give up a possession, or uthoff finds the dog house for the entire 2nd half

Just bad dumb luck

Iowa is at an interesting crossroads to it's season. We aren't going to win the Big 10 Title. We are going to make the NCAA Tourney. The big question is where will this team be seeded? Its an interesting situation. A lot of fans seem to be pretty disappointed with the results from this team so far. There have been very high expectations from most posters on this board. If we lose tonight..is it a terrible thing? I would almost prefer a 6 seed over a 4 or 5 seed IMHO. We will most likely have to lose 2 more games to end up a 6 or worse.

It's interesting to see different reactions from our fan base as this season draws to it's grand finale. I don't want to lose ever..I will cheer for us to win out..but most people are really overreacting on this board over the loss to Wisconsin. This team is going to be a very hard out in the tournament on a neutral court and with neutral refs.

In other words. Please chill out! The real season begins in 3 weeks or so. We are dangerous no matter what happens these next few games

I posted this before the game. I stand by it. I'd rather be in the bottom half of a region and play a 3 seed as a 6 or a 2 seed as a 7 in the second round. Tonight's loss might help that situation if we don't totally collapse the next few weeks..which we shouldnt
