Iowa vs. Long Beach State - 2:30 CST Monday - Live Chat is expected

I am planning on doing a live chat tomorrow afternoon for the game.

From the looks of it, it's not a 5th/6th place game, it's a 4th/6th place game.

If Iowa wins, they leave paradise 2-1 and 4th place.
Not perfect, but a good achievement.

my call before the tourney was 2-1. although a first round loss is not what we want, in a tourney such as this it's often best for a young team to go to the loser's bracket b/c they are assured of two lesser opponents. not slamming anything, just fact. if we can win tomorrow we have had an amazing 3 game stretch.

Not really surprising that we lost the first game. From what I understand, this tournament was seeded so we were the 8th seed, playing the 1st seed Xavier. Turns out the seeding scheme didn't hold, but that's not that unusual for the early season.
