Hmm, isn't Derby's suspension over? Not on the 2 deeps. Let's start the "he switched positions" threads now.

I noticed Will Orne was in on the "jumbo" goal line unit wearing number 95 so he would be an eligible receiver. I'm just sayin....

CJ now listed at TE. I dont think he was on list last week but seemed to play alot against NW so hopefully he is moving up.

Derby suspension over and he will probably be actual backup in game. However, for person in leadership position (QB), he made foolish mistake and I wouldnt be all that surprised to see Wienke get playing time if situation allows.

Iowa has a definite top 3 at WR. I am not sure if any others played against NW or not. It is another case of written depth chart not meaning alot.
Orne was #95 last Saturday but if they need him to play OG, I am sure his #72 jersey will be there waiting for him.

Does this really mean that Morris,Nardo,Hitchens and Lowery are all ready to go? If so, it is about as healthy as we have been all year....nice. McMillan and McCall are the two guys we need back,ASAP! But, I will take this crew ,and pray they stay healthy. Canzeri was reported to be ready to return kickoffs also, correct?

Derby would be available to play, I am guessing he will get the #2 reps in practice, but probably just not listed on the depth chart. It's pretty meaningless anyway.

"It's pretty meaningless anyway." The more I thought about it you were probably referring to depth chart but I thought you were referring to #2 QB. Jinx = JVB injury.

I thought Bigach, and Alvis had strong games. So, that's some good news for next year. Some good to excellent games by a number of young defensive players including most obviously, Miller. Hoping our defensive youngsters continue to develop over the next stretch of games.

I believe the fact that they threw #95 on Orne and put him in our short yardage packages tells you something about the confidence in our TE blocking in critical situations. That being said, I saw Orne miss a block in the TE position.

I like the idea though and I'd like to see them go to it more. It definitely forces the Defense to bring more people up to the line of scrimmage. Very interesting and creative.

Haven't watched the game...how many plays did Orne play?
