Mix it up? What game are you watching? We blitzed, went nickel, multiple coverages D is just not good

I mean personnel-wise, too. And mix it up with stuff we don't ALWAYS do...like blitzing a DB more often, or using 3-man fronts a little more, since our DL won't be any "worse" under that scenario

We are awful on d

Ya know, I really think the d-line has improved over the course of the season -- not giving up that many contain breakdowns -- but am still amazed how truly bad the pass defense is -- particularly the lb's all year but now, even the db's.

Just more proof of a square peg / round hole approach by continuing to force the lb's to do what they simply are not talented or skilled enough to do. The domino effect on the rest of the back of the defense is noticeable.
