A Greg Davis offense is what happened. Complain about dropped passes and penalties all you want, but his offensive schemes are, well very offensive to any football fan.

Under Greg Davis I will say it here and now. Iowa Football will almost certainly be ugly as far as offense is concerned as long as he's around this program. The only hope is that JR has high football IQ. He will make a play every now and then only because of his own doing.

Get ready for a slow and painful offensive season from this program. If you know of any Texas fan, ask them their thoughts of Greg Davis. I am not surprised and actually expected this from the offense today.
 
In 15 years under KF, regardless of the opponent, his teams are wholly incapable of handling a defense that blitzes. It's moved beyond laughable into the realm of just plain pathetic. This Mo St team is AWFUL and we look, as always, as if we've never seen a blitz....ever. God forbid we throw a screen or a draw or something that uses their blitz against them. Then again, when youre a team that rarely blitzes itself, its probably a shock to the system....sorta like always getting burned by fake punts because it never dawns on KF to ever run them.

Stick a fork in this program...we're done.

This is more like a scrimmage. Don't think about the score. They're working out the last of the kinks in the offense and will come out firing in the 2nd half. Leave it close so your starting qb can take all the snaps without ticking off the 2nd and 3rd stringers. Can't help but think this is all part of the game plan for today.

If you just looked at the halftime stats, you would think Iowa would be up like 24-0. Ridiculous.

Actually, I refused to make a prediction on my board this season and qualified everything off the NIU game. I predicted that if we lost to them, we had a 2-3 win ball club. Man, I hope I was wrong but this isn't good.
 
Band sounds good. Cold beer tastes good on a hot day. Rudock looks good. Offensive stats are good. Pre-snap penalties and drops should get taken out of the GD game plan. You'd think he'd learn after all this time.
