Indiana is 8-7, 20-7 overall, and was coming off of a 3-game winning streak, with a MUCH harder SOS and wayyy higher RPI than us.

They are 20-7.
We are 14-13.
They have a really good RPI.
We don't.
They beat Ohio State and Kentucky, who are National Title contenders.
We haven't.
Those are some big reasons why. Conference record isn't everything.

This will happen, Lads know they can beat the Badgers, almost did it last year at Carver, did it this year at Kohl. They have the confidence to know they can do it. Pressure is on the Badgers, who aren't quite as good as recent years, and can be had.....
Lot of heart, character and toughness on this team. If they can only sustain it for a few games, things will be almost perfect.....

Well you known there was that one time it didn't work but let's not talk about that.
We had driven down to Des Moines this morning for a family function and left shortly before the game started. Technology is AWESOME. I was able to download the Big ten 2go app and then stream it over 3G. Good thing I have unlimited data! My son ended up with the phone and I found it on the radio. Wish I could have gone. Sounded like a great crowd!

We did win today.....
Right....
We beat Indiana by 12 at Carver, they won in Bloomington by 14. We swept them the last two years, seriously belittling the storied Indiana Hoosier program. This game was a vicious blow to the prestige of the Hoosiers, who also lost at Nebraska. This is a more meaningful Slap in the face to them, then it was to the Hawks losing at Indiana......

This would have been one of the better game to attend. Had a feeling we would play well enough to win.....

I spent a lot of time b!tching at the officials and telling the Hawks to keep the tempo but relax instead of rushing some of their shots and by the end of it, I was as giddy as a school girl...I have a perma-smile going on...holy crap, that was AWESOME! Way to go Hawkeyes!
