I just thought that it was intriguing to point this little "factoid" out. Below are a list of underclassmen who now have career starts under their respective belts ....
OL: MacMillan (RS FR), Ferentz (SO), Reiff (SO)
FB: Rogers (RS FR)
RB: Coker (TR FR), Robinson (SO)
QB: Vandenberg (SO)
PK: Myeres (TR FR)
LB: Morris (TR FR), DiBona (RS FR)
CB: Hyde (SO)
It strikes me that we have a squad that has a surprising amount of youth who are now gaining A LOT of experience. When you also consider how many underclassmen are seeing a good many reps in a back-up capacity and/or on special teams ... even more underclassmen are getting up to game speed.
I'm pretty darn excited about the future. And, for that matter, I'm also excited to see us close out the season!
