People actually read Yahoo! sports???
Are you suggesting that what the article said about Iowa is less true because it appeared on Yahoo Sports web page?
The "trend is your friend" and it appears that if Iowa basketball were a stock it would have been wise to sell a few games ago.
Can you provide any evidence that would support a solid rebuttal to YS's contention?
Sorry another thought...bracketology has us playing St. Louis and they are listed in that group of 4.
There was also a Louisville team that lost a couple late games, early exit out of tournament...and if memory serves me right they made a deep run
If Iowa plays St. Louis in the first game, Iowa will be playing a second game!
LOL, we couldn't handle BIG doormat Northwestern on a neutral floor and now we are beating St. Louis in an NCAA tourney game? Have you seen the way the past 10 games have been played? If they play the way they've been playing, it doesn't matter who they get in the first round, they will lose. Now...if they could pull their heads out of their a****.....

Article shouldn't suprise anybody... I think we are all aware that we are limping into the tourney.
I'm not saying we would be St. Louis if we played them but I'd much rather take a shot at them than another team that is in stride and playing good ball.
I say match us up with the big boys in the first round...if we really have sorted things out...we will probably be competitive if not beat them...if we have not sorted things out...it doesn't matter so might as well wrap this season up.
Bring on a UCONN or Louisville.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Louisville is like a 2 seed, not sure about UCONN, but we won't be playing a 2 seed.
I said a UCONN or louisville...meaning a team like that. Sorry for the confusion.
I think my point still stands... Were gonna be a 10-11 seed so we'll play a 6 or 7 seed nothing close to the caliber of a team like Louisville.
