O’grady has really improved her game over the offseason. Extremely impressed. Love Olsen’s aggressiveness although I feel she’s going to get some of her jump shots blocked once she gets into the thick of the big10 due to how slow her shot is. She bends her shooting elbow so much makes for a slow release. That said love her game. After watching the first game against NIU I was thinking it was going to be tough to watch this team. I’ll admit I was spoiled by Clark’s greatness. That said I have seen a ton of improvement in just 3 games. Sydney is the difference maker for this team.

Olson really impresses me. She plays really aggressive yet she's not a ball dominant pg and I don't think she forces things I wasn't sure what to expect from her but she's been better then advertised to me. They won't need her to put up 23 plus a game. This group has multiple players capable of putting up 12-16 pts and they just gave us a great example of it. There's no reason Lucy, Syd and Hannah shouldn't put up 15 a game. Plug in that O'Grady has really stepped up her game and that's difference making.

The freshman are going to be X factors too along with Kylie and McCabe. I don't think we'll get consistent production from the freshman like one or two of em will have a solid outing while another not so much kind of thing. It'll just be an interesting thing to see how that goes.

Should be a fun year. Good enough to carry the excitement some from the past few years.

Which makes 2026 seem pretty bright too.
