Iowa to Play Xavier in Battle for Atlantis First Round

Being POY in the SEC is not impressive considering it was Noel's to lose and he did when he got hurt. Guards normally win POY in the SEC as it has been a horrible league for big men.
I will stand by Semaj Christian over McCrae and Stokes being Tennessee's best player. When I watched Tennessee I don't even remember McCrae.

Neither is being a volume shooting guard on a mid level A-10 team but for some reason Semaj Christian seems to be an All-American in your eyes.

Didn't say he was All-American, he impressed me when I watched him and I just don't think McCrae is that good...I can't even remember him and I probably saw around 10 of their games. One when I was stuck in Canada for work and it was the only thing worth watching on what they call TV up there that wasn't hockey. Tennessee got blown out that game by an awful team.

The general public will view Kansas as the favorite in this tournament. I agree that Kansas will be talented and a tough out in March. These games are early in the season. Experience is important. Depth is important...3 games in 3 days. Team chemistry is important. Coaching is important. Iowa has all of the above. Thus, I view Iowa as the favorite to win this tournament. It doesn't mean they will and I won't be disappointed if they don't win it...but I really like our chances.
