But they would be #5 per his S curve...so slowly moving up.

Win tomorrow along with what should be a loss or 2 in the bubble teams moves us closer and closer!

Last 4 in: Cal, Temple, Ole Miss, Baylor
Last 4 out: Kentucky, Villanova, St. Johns, Southern Miss
Next 4 out: Indiana State, Maryland, Alabama, Arkansas

Cal beat Oregon last night so that doesn't help Iowa. Thankfully ISU beat Baylor, so that his helpful.

I can't believe he still has Minny in, and not even as the last 4, a solid 10 seed.

He has Virginia in as a 11seed, their RPI is 76, but they are 18-8 and 8-5 in conference. they have some decent wins, but they aren't even on the bubble. NCAA College Basketball RPI Rankings - ESPN

Iowa shouldn't be considered until they win 2 more IMHO.

Agreed. At least that Iowa needs to do more before it should be considered officially on the bubble.

Iowa wasn't in the "last 4 out" after it beat Minnesota last Sunday, and since it hasn't played since then, no surprise that Iowa still isn't in the "last 4 out". So nothing has really changed much for us the past few days. A couple more wins, and then maybe.

Start with a win tomorrow, and I will feel much better about our chances of ending up on the bubble by the time the BTT starts.

Virginia was not part of the last 4 in, so I don't consider that really on the bubble. Anyway I don't think as of right now Iowa is in either.

However, these projections are worthless until after tournaments are over, but it is fun to follow.

Not going to worry about this sorta thing till after the Indiana game. Cause unless Hawks beat Nebby and Purdue (I totally believe they should but....) it doesn't really matter. If all goes as according to plan and Hawks play well not just win but play as well as they are capable of against Nebby and Purdue. They'll be a pretty hot confident team going into Bloomington. Now I don't think the Hawks will shock the world..(it shouldn't be the biggest shocker really we matchup well with em and have played em tough the last few yrs but to the outside basketball world looking in it would be) But I'll be rooting like hell for them to do it. That game will mean alot more to the Hawks then it will them at that point so motivation could be a factor. Bottom line is I'm not sweating the first and last four lists yet. Hawks control their own destiny and winning the B1G tourny isn't the only way in.

He has Minny in because they are going to be in. Already have 18 wins, probably going to finish with at least 20, but more importantly their strength of schedule is high, thus their RPI is high. Virginia should be disqualified from consideration simply based on their loss to Old Dominion (or their five other losses to RPI 100+ teams).

Hawks need to beat Nebby... will be a tough team to beat at home. Iowa wins and goes on to the next contest still part of the at large consideration for the NCAA BB Selection Doofus Committee.

Minnesota will not be in unless they win 2 more games... maybe 3. You can't win 3 games out of 15 and make the tournament regardless of what you did in 2012.
