Iowa still #10 in AP poll

Stanford and Notre Dame play each other the day after the hawks play nebby so if the hawks keep winning they will eventually pass one of these two teams.

Keep winning, and there's little anyone can do about Iowa being in the top 5-6. Beat OSU, likely as a #1 team....top 4.

Lose any 1 game, we make the Rose.

Lose any 2 games, probably still make the Rose.

Lose 3, probably don't make B1G champ. And it'd be a very dissappointing season.

I was hoping we would move up a spot, especially since there's 4 one loss teams in front of us (I think) but I'm not surprised to see us right where we are. Win next week and we'll be on the move again for sure.

Last week in AP we were 128 points out of being #8, this week we are only 65 points out from #8 (and from 144 out to 101 in Coaches poll)...as mentioned in posts above, with additional wins we will continue moving up in AP probably to top 4-6 by season's end as its voters will be more in line with the CFP poll...further, I really think the CFP committee comes out on Tues with us starting between 5th - 8th anyhow....Just win Hawks!

I'm not surprised Iowa didn't move up this week. A home win over a bad MD team wasn't going to sway anyone, particularly with no one ahead of us losing. There was very little movement in the polls this week, even if you look at 1-25. It just wasn't a great week for upsets and there weren't many high profile match ups.

Just keep winning, and some teams ahead of us will lose - so the rankings will take care of themselves if Iowa wins out.

The higher you get, the harder it is to move up and the smaller the jumps will be. Don't sweat it mo fo, we have four more weeks of wins to inch our way up. Then we take down the Buckeyes, seriously, and are setting at two or three for the bcs playoffs.

I thought we would switch with Florida, with their 27-3 win over Georgia.
Just keep winning.
I think we'll see Iowa in the #8 slot come Tuesday night, based on wins at Northwestern, at Wisconsin and against Pittsburgh.

This will be a fun week lot of good match ups that could help Iowa move up!

8 Notre Dame @ Pitt
17 Florida State @ 3 Clemson
5 TCU @ 12 Oklahoma State
4 LSU @ 7 Alabama

Others
6 Michigan State @ Nebraska
9 Stanford @ Colorado
2 Baylor @ Kansas State

could be some upsets in there will be a very fun and exciting day of football!

Here's how I see the top 10:

1. Ohio St. - 0 Top 25 wins, struggled with Indiana, Maryland and Northern Illinois. Frauds.
2. Baylor - 0 Top 25 wins, best win is against ISU, 104 SOS. Massive Frauds.
3. Clemson
4. LSU - Could easily be 5-3, didn't look like a playoff team against WKU.
5. TCU - Almost lost to Minnesota, should have lost against Texas Tech, almost lost to K-State, didn't look like a playoff team against ISU. Frauds
6. Michigan St. - Should have lost to Michigan, barely beat Rutgers, Purdue and Oregon, didn't look like a playoff team against W. Michigan. Frauds
7. Alabama - 0 Top 20 wins, lost at a home to a team Memphis blew out. Didn't look like a playoff team against Arkansas or Tennessee. Overrated.
8. Notre Dame - Best win is Temple
9. Stanford - Lost to ******* Northwestern, didn't look like a playoff team against Wash St. Massive Frauds.
10. Iowa

Looks like I nailed several of these this week, more to come next week.
