Iowa showing interest in Jamie Dixon?

Dixon would be a good get for us. He would be worth the big contract in my opinion. He has done wonders with this year's team after losing the guys he did last year.

He seems to be an east coast guy. I think he recently said he was concerned that Pitt would leave the Big East to join ...the Big Ten. So really the DePaul thing was more because his late sister coached there and they would still be Big East.
He has done a good job,but I wonder..he inherited a strong program from Howland,and kept it going...has he built a program?

No chance. Why don't we offer Pitino and Rick Barnes too. Come on, at least Pearl has big time Iowa ties.

Why is the "money is not an issue" phrase used all the time in the arguments that Bruce Pearl would come to coach for us, but when ever someone else with a Pearl type of resume is mentioned it is immediatly shot down as being unrealistic. Money talks to everyone not just to Bruce Pearl.

It's also a huge hockey town, and they have their Penguins.
