Iowa scoring leader next season?

Not going to be popular, but Ellingson will be the leading scorer next year. There will be a balanced attack, but it will be a perimeter shooter - Bohannon or Moss are possibilities, but Brady looks good now.

Cook. He's going to be a stud offensively. Another year to improve the midrange game will create opportunities to drive.

Last nights game has me looking forward to Iowa's tournament run next season. Who you think will lead Iowa in scoring, assists and rebounding next season?

I'm going
Scoring: Cook
Assists: JB
Reb: Baer
This is harder to predict than it appears because although there's a lot of talent on the team, all those guys have holes in their games. It will make a huge difference in their productivity next year as to who fills those holes most effectively.

The leading scorer is not likely to be someone who explodes every once in a while, but someone who can score something vs defenses every game.
Right now, you'd have to say Cook as leading scorer. If he just learns a smidgen about blocking out, his scoring will go up and he's already in double figures. Moss could get there, but he needs to get much more aggressive offensively. Baer could surprise as a scorer too with more shot consistency. Right now, BE and JB score big in some games but not in others depending on D. Because they're not elite quickness guys, they'll have to have unusual development in moving without the ball to go beyond that.

Leading assist guy will be JB unless Connor surprises.

Right now, Baer or Kriener would be leading rebounders. But there's going to be a lot of lessons about blocking out in the offseason so this could be a surprise. I'm interested to see what Garza brings as a rebounder. He strikes me as someone who will bring an awareness of what his height and bulk can do in the lane as a defender- similar to Woodbury. But Garza also seems to have that awareness on the offensive end- and a good touch to go with it.

I can't begin to predict the scoring for two reasons. 1 - We will be so balanced. It should/could be a different guy every night. 2 - If I'm wrong about 1 then it comes down to which player(s) are taking Jok's 16 shots per game.

My wild guess is Bohannon narrowly edging out Cook because of the extra points he gets at the line when opponents are behind late in games.
