I guess I didn't realize Alexander was not a true PG, that would make Hatchett my first choice as well.

No no...that's Buddy Hackett! Great stroke from downtown, nice baby hook from down low, but he was a HUGE liability with his lack of ball handling and quickness.

No, I'm gonna have to flat out disagree with you here and say I think we need a true point guard. If we didn't then I don't think the staff would be out looking at Hatchett or Williams. If the Hawkeyes are going to make the strides they need to make next season then they definitely need another ball handler that can create offense for himself or his teammates.

We already have a few of those on the team with more to come. We need a true PG that's sole role is to distribute the ball and create offense by driving or dishing.

Yep. I think we're okay with the wing players we'll already have next season. It's the defense and the setup from the PG position where we really need help.
