Seems correct to me. We saw last night that we ain't a top-10 team right now. Perhaps by the end of the season we'll be back up there.

Even though we didn't play like it, we are most definitely a top 10 team. Take away the first 5 minutes of the game, and we're all singing a different tune.
THis ranking is good......now we'll be underdogs in many of our games. I think we'd all rather be there.

So we lose a 7 pt game against a top 20 team on the road and we drop 9 spots? That seems fair... The voters were waiting to drop us. And they showed it.
Sorry wrong, this is not a top 10 team....they looked like a highschool team last night and should have prob dropped down into the 20's...way over rated team.

How can you say we looked like a high school team when we battled back from 20 points down. Tied it late in the game and lost by 7 to a very talented arizona team. I know we are better then how we played last night. We can not give up on the hawks
nope i am thinking 8-4 or 9-3 at best right now...to many things wrong with this Iowa team to consider them top 10 and they were all exposed last night.

Not WAY over-rated. Again, take away one of the fluke plays in the first quarter and we're singing a different tune. We have things to work on, no doubt, but they're not MAJOR issues.

These kinds of fans and posts show just how "fairweather" and ridiculous people can after a loss.
Fluke? lol sorry those are not fluke things they are the other team making things happen...it is almost comical when Iowa gets beat it is not because the other team was better it was fluke plays that caused it.
Fair weather? wow you are clueless as can be...try realist....take off your black and gold colored glasses and face it this team has alot of things wrong with it and they were exposed last night.

The corner play I'll give you, as well as the special team. The offensive line was put behind the 8-ball, though. In case nobody remembered, we weren't very good at picking up blitzes last year either (remember Vandenberg getting rocked repeatedly against Minny?). Arizona was bringing at least 6 guys on probably 75% of the defensive snaps. They could afford to thanks to the early miscues.

I watched the game, unlike some, and there isn't a lot wrong. A few minor things that will be and are fixable.
The O-line has some work, but 3 of the six sacks were on Stanzi, not them.
The running game was off, but when you dig yourself a 3 TD deficit you become one dimensional throwing the ball, and that's what happened.
Defense looked solid for the most part. Our LB's are young, but they held their own. All but one drive at the end.
Special teams was the biggest error last night. I expect to see all starters on ST in the future.
They are WAY ahead of where they were last year at this time. Just think, you probably had a fit after the UNI game.....right?

I still think we should be a couple of spots higher in each poll. I'm betting that the voters voted when they went to bed and the score was 27-7.
