Iowa pursuing transfer WR

Don't look now, but K-State's leading receiver just entered the transfer portal as well, though he might gauge some big time interest.

It isn't the one that got charged with battery about a month ago is it????
That's Hunter Rison, who was suspended for all of spring ball, and is a former MSU transfer.

Zuber missed spring ball with a hip injury, and will be a grad transfer eligible to play immediately.

REED
6ft 170 - IL
56 catches - 797 yds - 8 tds
rushes - 1 for minus 9 yds

ZUBER
6ft 183 - GA
52 catches - 619 yds - 5 tds
rushes - 1 for 17 yds

VOKOLEK
6-6 250 - MO
16 - 184 - 2 tds
rushes - 2 for 27 yds

This portal may have arrived at the right time for Iowa. Our brand is looking pretty good and transfers like these can see opportunity. The portal giveth and it taketh away, but Iowa should be able to get more than they lose imo.

Haven't heard back from him yet but I will give him the geography lesson if I do. :p

When you talk to him, let him know that NCHawker has a bag of money or Visa gift card for him..I recognize that its a matter of personal preference.

I've always been impressed with the quality of the WR in the MAC. Love to get some of those guys at Iowa.

How quickly can he pick up Iowa's complex offense and learn how to block? Just kidding.:)
"Glad to have you here but you need to learn Iowa FB...don't screw up, don't take any chances, we are working towards a good punt and good field position on offense. And most of all, don't miss a block, that's why you are on the field." The coaching staff

I moved to Naperville 2 years ago and to a rival school district to Naperville Central. When I asked who is a really good football player locally, this guy was the name that came up routinely.

Little does he know the money is Monopoly money and the gift card has a zero balance on it!

Screw him. Look, he's not even that good. I didn't want him anyway and frankly I'm glad he went to Michigan State instead of tying up a scholarship at Iowa.
