No. It's just another excuse for the haters to hate. And they won't remember five weeks into the season who went and what they said.Anybody remember who KF has taken to media days the past 5 years?
Was just curious to see what the pattern has been. No need to get all defensive Kirk.No. It's just another excuse for the haters to hate. And they won't remember five weeks into the season who went and what they said.
Nothingburger.
I agree with you. I think if wadley had a season like last year it would have been with him being the feature back, I think he and butler will split the carries/catchesIt's been written and said by some that Wadley is a possible Heisman canidate and should be going. Well to that I say he COULD be one. But I don't think he'll get enough touches. I didn't think he would even before Butler came on board but I certainly feel that way now. His numbers won't drastically increase this year compared to last. He might get 200 carries with 30-40 receptions on top of that. Compared to the Saquan Barkleys and other bell cows that'll be out there the numbers Wadley will accumulate just won't cut it. Not to mention is Iowa going to have a great season on the field. We all know that matters too. I just think KF doesn't look at Wadley as being a Heisman guy because he's not planning on using him as one.... Because if he was and thought of him that highly he'd be going to Chicago...
LoL. Okay Mary. Was just curious to see what the pattern has been. No need to get all defensive Kirk.
LoL. Okay Mary.
If you don't know who has gone the last five years and don't know a pattern then it proves my point that nobody really cares.
But it's summer and KF is still the HC. It's create a crisis time.

I disagree with you but only mildly. I thought Vandeburg since he played his true freshman year after basically forcing the school to give him a scholly right away after initially grey shirting is worthy of going. He played quite a bit prior to getting hurt last yr. I think resume wise he and Wadley aren't that far apart (I think after this yr Wadley will blow him away though) as far as their contributions to the program go. So with that being as close as it is then it comes down to who's been the coaches pet? I think that may have been the deciding factor. I just hope it's not a big deal that sours him. I like the kid a lot and think he's done nothing but try his best at playing hard and gaining weight the best he can.As one poster said, this is something that I don't think will matter in 5 weeks, but I think Wadley should have had the opportunity to go over Vandeburg. Wadley has contributed on some level over the last three years and will be the face of our offense this year or even possibly be the face of the team. Individually, he was probably the biggest reason the 2016 season didn't have a more sour taste. His performance against Michigan, Rutgers, and Minnesota were essential for those games to be wins and his ability is really the biggest or second biggest reason for optimism on offense coming into 2017.

He's not a script player at times and will speak his mind. Kirk likes guys that toe the company line
When I look at that list it makes me a bit concerned about Wadley's role on the team on the field. The guy is game changing, yet wasn't the starter last year. Then again, I realized figuring Kirk out is not really possible a long time ago.
Kirk lovers always gonna hate.
No, Wadley was not the starter. When lineps are announced game time who do they announce.Wadley and Daniels were basically both starters. It is not like Greene/Hampton where Greene got 80% of the carries.
I bet you there were games where Wadley was the first RB out there. "Starting" in football as a RB or WR or TE just isn't the same as a QB or other spots. It's just not that big of a deal. Snaps played and touches are what they care about and he played quite a bit. Those two Daniels and Wadley were about as close to 50 50 reps wise as you could be.No, Wadley was not the starter. When lineps are announced game time who do they announce.
