If Iowa gets a touchdown on their first drive, they will win. After the “embarrassment” on offense last week I think Iowa wants to set a tone.
 
As much as I want the Hawks to win I don't see it. First Stanley is still immobile and that isn't changing any time soon. Most posters here say he doesn't bring it in big games and I agree. This is a big game. Penn St. appears to be the real deal with a lot of speed and talent. I'm giving the coaching edge to Franklin. 24 to 10 Penn St. seems about right. Hope I'm wrong. Go Hawks

No worries, U of I just ordered one of these for Stanley to get him moving faster and avoid the blitzs.Coach Polasek I hear is getting it put together as we speak.

What floors me is Iowa is +4. 3 for being at home. So someone thinks they are evenly matched. That's amazing. Since when is a team who lost to a lower ranked team evenly matched with a #10 ranked team?
 
My heart says Iowa puts together a "KF is royally fucking pissed off" type of game, but the PSU DL has been the past few years and is still very good. Hopefully our performance last week is an aberration.

It’s not universal for home field advantage. 3 is an average. The night game at Kinnick might be a factor as well. Also if you take away the three points that would mean PSU would be a 7 point favorite at a neutral site... not evenly matched.

Iowa coming off a loss where they played poorly Penn State coming off two blowout wins. Reversion to the mean?

Has to be Iowa's 5th ranked defense expected to keep us in the game. Hopefully, our offense makes a few scores.

I say another low scoring game with a little more scoring than last game. Iowa 17 PSU 23.

KF didn't throw anyone under the bus.

The OL repeatedly missed blocks, missed communication, and frankly, should have played with the lineup from previous game(s).

Sure, some of it is on staff. But speaking of tiresome, why don't you just F off?
