No, but Purdue has to be thinking this is a big strep towards a bid. Their next 2 games are against Penn State and at Northwestern, if they win those 2 they are hosting Wisconsin with a 14-5 record.

I'm watching this one...pulling for Minnesota but won't be crushed if it goes the other way.
I wouldn't count on UTEP winning anymore games, any time soon.
Drake has really gone in the tank since they lost their starting guard.
I just don't think we will have to worry about the RPI this year when it comes to tournament selection time. At least I sure hope not!
1) Hold serve at home (+7 )
2) beat the teams we are supposed to beat on the road (NW, Illinois & Penn St) (+3)
3) Try to get another road win or 2 against the rest of the Top6 (Michigan, MSU, Minnesota and Indiana) (+2)
4) That gets us to 26 - 5. Then win the BTT and we will be a 2 seed at the worst.

Im not worried about RPI. Some people just like to know what happens with who we've played. Even though RPI isn't an issue on Iowa making the tourney, its better for seeding to have a better RPI. I for one am just interested to see how teams fare throughout the season.
You sure you want the goofs to win? Don't need them coming into Carver on a high, peters hard.
I am on the fence on this one.....

I am rooting for OSU vs Minny. Minny is dangerous, and I do not want them coming into Carver with momentum. They strike me as a streaky team, and if they get on a hot streak, could be bad. They took MSU to OT in East Lansing, so they can beat Iowa at home. As for OSU, while they are good, I do not think they have quite enough offense to win the Big Ten....so a win on the road at Minny does not boost them that much.

I kind of want the OSU win to be a great one instead of a really, really good one so I'm not against them winning.

I could go either way....I think you'll see a totally different OSU team, although I could see them getting beat in Minnesota.....just sit back and enjoy whatever the outcome is, I guess...
