Iowa opponents in action today

Take care of business next week, and we could be in second place. I think we need Michigan to beat MSU next Sunday. I could be persuaded to cheer for MSU though. Its a tough call, Michigan has an easy schedule after MSU. MSU on the other hand still has Iowa and @ OSU.

I think so also, the Iowa at Msu game is a must for Iowa, but MSU needs two more losses.

How does Sparty get obvious calls?

Sparty throws ball into backs court, every player on both sides stopped playing, only to have the refs swallow their whistles, and in front of Izzos bench.

It looked like Applings triple jump at Iowa....

Wisconsin game looms big next weekend as we are the toughest opponent left on their schedule. I believe they are in the best position of any team in the conference to strengthen their position going into the tourneys. Their remaining schedule is very favorable (outside of the Iowa game) and could allow them to put a 9 game win streak on their resume to finish the regular season.

B1G home teams were 1-5 this weekend. The only home team to win was Purdue over Indiana.

Purdue can be our new best friend. They play Michigan and MSU at home coming up. If they could somehow pull out those wins then lay down for us, I would have a hard time continuing to think of them as our most hated rival.
