Just watching it on lunch...

10 min mark - Brommer was responsible for getting the lead from 6 to 11. I missed this last night.

1. Makes the pass from the baseline to open Wink for 3.
2. Stops Mirkovic on the D end.
3. Runs the floor, gets fouled. Makes both FTs, exits game.

Hey, thanks! I was at the Drake/UNI game last night and didn't get to see but the last minute or so.

John Shurna sure is ugly.

I noticed it right away. Brommer comes into the game has good Defensive stop runs the floor gets fouled and is never seen again.

He did get in again later in the half, he picked up that questionable blocking foul on the switch on Juice.

Brommer looked ok last night in limited PT.
Cole and Fuller deserved their minutes though.

He was also in there for the last 8 seconds of the 1st half.

I missed that..

Anyway it's no biggie. You are correct that Cole and Fuller deserved the bulk of the minutes.

all four post players contributed significantly. I thought the really interesting part was the complete contrasting styles of each.

Cole-strength and effort, no finesse
Fuller-great rebounding and touch finishing around the basket
Brommer-good effort and running the court
Cougill-pure pick and pop

I was thinking that we would need Larson to play well as a freshman to compete next year and while that still maybe the case, if these four keep improving there might not be a whole lot of minutes out there. I don't think Lick will play more than four post players on a regular rotation and you still have Archie if someone is hurt.
