Iowa - Northwestern Preview/Prediction

I might be the worst predictor on the board. So take heart, Hawk fans. Northwestern 59 Iowa 53.
Iowa nips them at the buzzer 58-57...cully knocks down a big one!! Go hawks..eat it Fitz!
One note, while they may not play a lot of minutes,I do think that NW's bench is better than you gave it credit for...Rowley started much of last year, Markotullious has had his moments as a shooter,and Cappocio,Curletti,and Pejuslic have all been on the court this year or last...even Fruendt played recently...but Carmody likes his rotation short with his core group,I guess.

It's always tough to win on the road in the Big Ten and Iowa is better than their record indicates. Iowa has improved significantly since November, moreso than most teams because Iowa is so young, inexperienced playing with each other, and inexperienced playing division I basketball. If Iowa can continue to play more balanced, getting the ball down low to Fuller and Cole, I think Iowa can compete with anyone.
This team has a lot of heart and I'd really like to see their hard work to start paying off in the Win column. If Iowa can work from the inside out on the offensive end and play good defense (preventing NW from getting hot on the perimeter), I think the payoff will begin tonight.

I'm not saying NW doesn't use the bench much, but they are a lot like Ohio State in regards to their Starting 5 getting a lot of the PT.
