Iowa Nike pro combat

Maybe old news for many of you, but I read that Iowa is wearing pro combat uniforms against Purdue this season. Anyone have any images on what they may look like? I hear silver helmets and silver pants, but not much more than that.

Yes, we will **** on our tradition, our brand and our uniform, but it's important for Nike..those 8 year old kids in China are working hard making your shoes. If this goes over well those poor children might get a raise to 7 cents per hour.

Good to know the prospect of recruiting some unknown future recruits (kids) with futuristic looking uniforms is enough to change our school colors to silver and whatever else. I dont care if its only one game. My opinion is we shouldn't be kissing the recruits' *** to give them some cheap temporary thrill, but building an iconic image that will stand the test of time. If they want combat, use our current uniform and just make it with combat material, dynamics, etc.

Some of you guys just don't seem to understand the importance of recruiting. If you guys hate these uniforms, then you hate us trying to recruit better players, and therefore you hate us trying to win games.

On the surface, that statement might seem crazy, but I'm serious. It's a liability to have the same uniforms game-in and game-out. If you guys aren't willing to sacrifice "tradition" for one game, for the betterment of the program, do you really want this team to succeed?

Looks like Soup tweeted a pic with jerseys for this fall. Can't really tell, but there's some silver in there.
