Havent seen an official prediction thread so I will start

If Tarp and Hunter are out I think MSU wins 28-24

If at least one of them plays and are somewhat healthy I think Iowa wins a close one, 27-26

does it matter that last year with ten minutes to go in the game we only had 3 points? THREE. Most of the game, 3 points. That's not relevant at all is it? Tell me it's not, if I hear it enough, I just might be able to believe it.

Well, I see the defense having best game of the season and Iowa really rebounds and plays well.

Iowa 27
MSU 14

Don't think Iowa's offense will be nearly as productive against MSU - possibly the best base D Iowa has faced, to date. Given the stakes, they will come at Iowa, hard.

Iowa's D will not be bullied like against Wisky. Unfortunately, there's just not enough back 7 consistency / experience to support what will be an excellent effort by the DL.

1st to score, wins a close, low scoring game. Iowa will be thinking run and MSU will get behind the DB's early to set up a field goal. There will be a lot of exchanges in the meantime but MSU will seal it up with a fake field goal, leading to the go-ahead td.

MSU 20 (field goal, td, field goal, go-ahead td) - Hawks 16 (2 td's, one missed xp, 1 field goal).

mini-Hawkeyes 56 Michigan State 7.

regular Hawkeyes - can't predict - too embarrassing for MSU.

I want to pick Iowa just because I think they are better then what their record shows but I also think Iowa is really suffering at LB and that will really hurt this game. If Iowa wins it will be because of the Offense (how odd is that to say?).

34 Iowa
30 MSU

I am always accused of being negative and I rarely pick Iowa to win. I am going to be positive this week.....

Iowa........27
MSU.........24

Then again, the last two games I picked Iowa to win were: Western Michigan in 2007 and Northwestern in 2006, so you can pretty much guess what will happen tomorrow.
