Her face got in the way of Caitlin Clark's arm because she was grabbing her. Clark has freedom of movement to pull away from the grab. If the grabber caused the facial collision it the fault of the grabber, not the player utilizing freedom of movement.
 
I would also add a flop call on the msu player, it looked like Caitlin barely even moved arm at all to free herself. The msu school of acting must be pretty bad if they can't teach a better flop than that.
 
its hard to see from the camera angle, but the ref was right there and it seemed deliberate though maybe just irritated by previous grabbing. Maybe.
