Iowa lost because of poor execution.

There is a point when using this excuse gets old. I hope I don't hear it from the coaching staff. Iowa had 2 weeks to prepare physically and mentally. They did not look good in either one.

Now, I'm not calling for heads but holy ****!

What I don't understand is how does this coaching staff do so well in preparing for bowl games but after 2 weeks to prepare for PSU looks like we learned nothing and had no game-plan.

However evidently Iowa wasnt prepared for Penn State to bring pressure because they did it all day long and we couldn't handle it.

I was going to say.... Then I read your post. Our offense is consistently average at best, to bad. Can't blame execution forever.

Offense execution killed the defense. Couldn't stop the run to save their lives. With that big body of Daniels you would think they wouldn't able to run up the middle like that. This game was definetly won in the trenches.
