Iowa looking like a Bowl Team today

Exactly, and all you Tanner Miller critics can eat your words. Huge hit to break up a pass to the tight end, and an interception. He stuffed 2 drives! Good job Tanner.

I think this was good for the team but western Michigan is really bad. They lost to Norfolk St. I think if we beat minny next week then we can talk about bowls.

W. Michigan is not that good, but Iowa laid down a beating on them, way more so than Mich. St. or jNW. Hopefully this is a confidence builder for the team, along with winning in Lames last week to get some momentum going into BIG play.

I'm a Tanner Miller critic. I saw him make some good plays today. The truth is he made some good plays today against a very, very bad d-1a team.

Yep, really don't know how good or bad Iowa is yet. I'll say this now, they are a good team if they beat minnie next week.

Iowa's passing game is still not very good. I am worried that we are going to be screwed on games that we get down early in and have to pass. Minnesota isn't even that good so if we lose to them we are in big trouble. We beat a really bad team today, but i am still happy with the W.

I have been pretty consistent with predicting a 7-5 record and nothing I saw today changed that positively or negatively.

Impressive win in the fact of how we did especially on defense. Not allowing a first down and only giving up 3 points which came from a turnover.

Surprisingly the offensive line might have had the most disappointing performance but that's probably the unit I'm least worried about moving forward.

I agree, the offensive line had alot of breakdowns today especially early in the game. It was on both running and passing plays...just flat out missed assignments. It seemed like it was always one guy not getting it done. Several guys had a direct line to the QB today...that can't happen against good teams. I was expecting a clean game by the oline, but they seemed to be off a bit today.

I'm looking forward to the Minny game. They aren't a good passing team, so we may be able to make them one dimensional and force them to throw...that's a good day for us.

They're apparently learning what it feels like to not only win, but dominate.

Still too early to tell regarding the season, but it was "like the good in days" in Kinnick today.
