Iowa Leaves Buckeye Fan Shaking Head and Just Laughing.

I have found that overall, osu fans have been very mature and complimentary toward Iowa following Saturday's beatdown.

Quite the opposite of nebraska fans when Iowa beat them 40-10. They were all middle fingers and f-bombs toward us. But I guess that's the mullet mentality on display.

It's not really the fans, it's the rivalry, Nebraska is more of a rival to us than Ohio State. I'm sure Hawk fans drop the FU on those Husker fans when we lose to them as well.

Ohio State losing to us has the same feel for them as when we lose to Northwestern. I'm more apt to be complementary towards a Northwestern fan and be gracious when we lose than to a Nebraska or Iowa State fan. Not that I'm dropping F'bombs or flipping the birds at anyone anymore (I'm too old for that) but the loss feels different.

All you can really do is laugh. Look at these Iowa touchdown drives:

11 plays, 80 yards
7 plays, 89 yards
3 plays, 22 yards
9 plays, 78 yards
4 plays, 60 yards
5 plays, 47 yards

These aren't fluke drives where Iowa gets lucky and scores on a 75 yard touchdown...these are methodical drives down the field....versus Ohio State.

Also, look at this totally Ferentz stat:
Rushing yards: 243
Passing yards: 244

I don't think I'll ever understand it. All you can do is laugh.

Good article... did you also read the Comments? Some were hilarious... others sounded a lot like the typical Hawkeye Nation meltdowns after losses... people wanting Urban Meyer's head... lol
