Absolutely, Gatens was absolutely terrific. This had to be a particularly sweet win for Gatens.
May gave us good energy in the 1st half.

Marble actually hit 2 huge shots in the final couple minutes like it was nothing. Bryce's swagger is back. Those two are fearless and White is too which is amazing for a Frosh.

These last two games should give the team a lot of confidence that they can hang with any team in the B1G. Rest of the league better watch out, we're playing great basketball right now!

The last four games Iowa has played during the regular season, Iowa is 2-2, the two wins coming against Purdue and Wisconsin (one of them on the road). The Purdue win at the end of last year was a huge huge win just to show the players that they can win. The players have to learn how to win and that is not easy.

If you didn't watch the game and only went by the box score, you might wonder where Marble was with only seven points. Those who watched realize that the two shots he hit were key to coming out of Madison with a win. What a great day to be a Hawkeye basketball fan, especially one who remembers watching Roy Marble in Carver back in the day!!

Wow, I totally forgot the BB team even had a game today. Then I read the articleabout the win and I think I am dreaming. What an incredible victory. To beat the Badgers at the Kohl Center is hard to believe. Certainly takes the sting away from the Insight. Fran is a great coach and wil have us back soon.

I thnk White has been a priceless addition to this team! He gives everyone around him a confidence we haven't seen on this team in a long time. The defence today was better then I have seen all year! Keep it going guys, one game at a time! Next up the Minny. GO HAWKS!!

Aaron White is going to be one heck of a player. At the time he committed, most of us (myself included) probably had an initial reaction of "a 2-star white guy... oh boy!"
Fran clearly knows how to spot talent because that kid has got game. I'm very impressed with Fran's recruiting so far.

Don't forget about the great defense today. Gatens had 2 big blocks in the first half. Marble was fantastic against Taylor. Didn't go for any fake pumps. Frustrated Taylor when he tried driving the basket. Kudos to Marble, White, Gatens, Basabe, Cartwright. They all had great games.
